Vandebilt Sets Championship Date, Rest Look Back On Season Vandebilt Lady Terriers have set a time and date for their State Championship match against the #3 seed, Teurlings. With the Lady Terriers hosting on Friday at 6:00, it will require a head start with the parade rolling on the normal Houma Route. As we switch gears to review the soccer season as a whole, Vandebilt was not the only ones in the playoffs. On the girls side, Morgan City won their first match against West Quachita before losing to DeRidder in the Quarterfinal round. Terrebonne, Central Lafourche, H.L. Bourgeois and E.D. White all made the playoffs, but all lost in the opening round of the playoffs. On the boys side, Terrebonne, E.D. White, and Vandebilt all lost in the Quarterfinals after hard faught matches all coming down to the final minutes. Central Lafourche, South Lafourche, South Terrebonne, and Ellender all advanced to the playoffs but came up short in the first round.
